HL series transfomers are designed for applications where the possiblity of a fire or explosion may result from sparks in environments containing high concentrations of dust , gases or other voltatile substances. The HL transformers wiring compartments are completely filled with electrical grade silica and resin leaving no access to tge core and coil. The feature also minimizes air spaces where combustible particulates and gases may accumulate.
The enclosures are rated for NEMA 12 and range in size from .500kVA through 25kVA. Various voltage combinations are available.
